Following the framework cooperation agreement signed on October 17, 2010, between Algeria — represented by the Ministry of Industry — and WIPO, during the interregional seminar aimed at developing the legal, technical, and infrastructure frameworks of various ministries and institutions in the field of intellectual property, and following all subsequent steps taken to assess national needs in this area, a project was launched to establish a National Intellectual Property Training Center.
