Patent Registration/inscription Form (for all types of registration)


Steps to follow

  • Create an account on the INAPI website, or log into your space if you already have one.
  • Click on the "Patent" section in the dashboard, then select "Registration".
  • Fill in the required fields with the necessary information.
  • Upload the supporting documents relevant to the type of registration requested.
  • Print your payment order, then pay in cash only (no other payment methods accepted) at any CNEP agency:
    • INAPI Agency : ESSAFIR ALITTI CNEP
    • Agency code : 103
    • INAPI Account Number : 100 00 13733 key 7
  • Print and sign five (5) copies of the completed form, and prepare the required documents (see below).
  • Submit your file at INAPI in Algiers or at the branch office closest to your place of residence.

Required documents

  • 5 copies of the registration form

Types of Registrations & Required Supporting Documents

    Here are the main types of registrations (also called "inscriptions") that can be made after a patent has been filed or granted

  • Change of Address
    • Individual: proof of residence or commercial register
    • Company: copy of the commercial register
  • Legal Transformation or Name Change
    • Updated statutes
    • Copy of the commercial register
  • Transfer of Ownership (cession)
    • Assignment/transfer contract
  • Correction of Clerical / Material Error
    • Incorrect name :
      • Individual : birth certificate
      • Company : statutes + commercial register
    • Incorrect address :
      • Individual: proof of residence or commercial register
      • Company : commercial register + statutes
    • Additional documents may be requested depending on the error type.
